KLENK-IEP Cruise, January 24 – 31, 2015

Ahoy! All Aboard!

Inviting all Estonians and friends of Estonia to a unique and exciting celebration of Estonian Culture and Heritage.  On January 24, 2015 the beautiful Ruby Princess will set sail from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and will commence the inaugural KLENK-IEP cruise.  Welcome to the first ever KLENK, Kesk-Lääne Eesti Noorte Koondis, (Midwestern Estonian Youth Association) and IEP, Idaranniku Eesti Päevad, (East Coast Estonian Days) joint event.
Time to get your sea legs in shape!
A mere 8 months from now, KLENK-IEP participants will embark on a 7 day seafaring cultural event to celebrate our Estonian heritage.   Combining the pleasures and activities of past KLENK and Idaranniku Eesti Päevad, “Estos” and friends will take to the sea to make new memories as they revisit old ones.
Our heritage is steeped in sea-related events, some tragic, some joyful, many fraught with hardship. We now return to the sea, this time in supreme comfort, to rekindle friendships, take part in familiar cultural activities, garner some learning from the KLENK side of the cruise, and stir up our passions by dancing and singing into the wee hours of the morning!

Added to all this are visits to many exotic and  beautiful ports on a luxury Princess Cruise ship, something we’ve never done before at KLENK or IEP or for that matter at any other Estonian event.   So by combining Estonian culture with sunshine, Caribbean islands, fine dining and luxurious travel we are proud to present KLENK-IEP 2015.  There will be activities, lectures and program events in both Estonian and English, to provide an enriching experience for all who would like to participate.  The only question now is; are you set to cruise Estonian style?
Saturday January 24 to Saturday January 31, 2015.
On the Ruby Princess from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to St. Maarten; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos; Princess Cays, Bahamas.
